　日本の美しい風景からインスピレーションを得て、そこに流れる「水」に時代や人生の移ろいを重ね合わせて描きました。軽快なテンポの部分が多くありつつも演奏者の心もようが投影されやすいので、コンサートがより親密な雰囲気になる曲ではないかと思っています。３つの部分からなり、Flowing（川が流れる―少年時代の思い出）Drifting（海に漂う―信仰の島と運命的な出来事）Soaring（空や宇宙へと昇っていく―未来を担う子供たち）という構成。サクソフォニスト川島宙氏の委嘱作品で、氏ゆかりの九州地方の情景がイメージされています。
　
I was inspired to compose this piece by beautiful Japanese landscapes. Through the metaphor of flowing water, I reflected upon the passage of time and the changes in life. Although it features many light and lively sections, it also allows the performer’s emotions to shine through. I believe this piece creates a more intimate atmosphere at concerts. 
The piece consists of three sections: 'Flowing', 'Drifting' and 'Soaring'. I envisioned scenes from the Kyushu region, which is deeply connected to the commissioner, Mr Satoshi Kawashima.
