ジャズ・フュージョンの大名曲。クラシックの要素を取り入れつつも決して古臭くならないエキサイティングな曲調で不動の人気を誇ります。このアレンジはトランペット奏者・三村梨紗さんの委嘱により2023年に編曲したもので、リサイタルで演奏することを念頭に重厚でテクニカルな内容になっています。イントロ部分はフリューゲルホルン、本編はトランペットでの演奏を想定していますがすべてトランペットで演奏しても良いでしょう。アドリブはすべて記譜されています。ピアノパートにもソロが複数あり音符も多いのですが、伴奏部分に関しては比較的弾きやすいリズムで書くことを意識しました。
演奏は決して簡単ではないですが盛り上がり必至の一曲です！

A great jazz-fusion classic. It is immensely popular for its exciting tune, which incorporates classical elements but never becomes old-fashioned. This arrangement was commissioned by trumpet player Lisa Mimura in 2023 and has a heavy, technical content with recital performance in mind. The intro section is intended to be played on flugelhorn and the main part on trumpet, but it could be played entirely on trumpet. All ad-libs are notated. The piano part also has several solos and many notes, but as far as the accompaniment part is concerned, I was conscious of writing in a relatively easy-to-play rhythm.
Overall, it's not easy to play, but inevitably exciting!
